A lover of all things storytelling and everything to deal with human experience. Whether it’s an ordinary day of checking off monotonous tasks on our to-do lists, or the day your entire life changes. I find that there is beauty in all of our experiences. It lurks in all corners and comes in many forms. Sadly, we often see past it. That’s where I come in!
There are many ways to tell a story. Growing up I was always the shy kid, so creating art was always my preferred method to communicate. While I do enjoy exploring different mediums, the combination of photography and poetry has fused a sort of magic that has won my heart as a method for storytelling.
But beyond capturing imagery of folks, where I really fall in love, is in your story. Life is limited and I want to see the world. Listening to others and getting to know their stories is like seeing the world from a different lens and perspective. Telling the same story is boring. I value inclusion, diversity, and individuality. I welcome all folks and experiences!
Let’s tell your story!
Here’s a part of my story…
***August 2020 Life Update***
Currently studying at the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy - University of Michigan. I will be receiving my Graduate degree in Public Policy in 2023. I hope to fuse my studies with my communications and creative background.
People often notice terrible design, but fail to recognize good design simply because it is functioning properly. Policy is very similar, but the arenas to make or understand policy are often inaccessible. People are left feeling the functions of bad design, with no ability or leverage to fix it.
I want to be a vessel to the people and make policy more accessible. Together we can inspire and build coalitions of change!
